You choose when invoices generate — weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. Set your schedule during onboarding or update it any time in Settings. At your chosen time, Dottie automatically creates draft invoices for each child based on their schedule and rates. They appear in your invoices list marked as 'Draft' — review them, make any changes, and send to parents when you're ready.

How much does it cost?
Enquiries is £19/month or £160/year (30% off annual). Invoicing is an add-on from £9.99/month or £84/year (30% off annual). 80 AI email drafts a month included. Extra drafts are £0.15 each. You approve before anything is sent to a parent. Nothing is sent to a parent until you approve.
Is my data secure?
Absolutely. Your data is protected with row-level security — completely isolated from other users. Bank details are stored encrypted. We're GDPR compliant and all data is stored in the UK/EU.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, cancel your subscription any time from your account settings. You'll keep full access until the end of your billing period.
Is there a free trial?
We don't offer a self-serve free trial. Sign up and choose a plan to get started, or book a demo. Qualifying childminders may be offered a trial after a chat.
Do you support childminders with multiple children?
Yes. Enquiries is not capped by child count. The invoicing add-on has Starter (up to 5 children) and Professional (up to 20). For larger settings, contact us. Each child can have their own schedule, rates, and parent details.
Can I export my invoices as PDF?
Yes, every invoice can be printed or saved as a PDF directly from the app. Invoices are formatted to A4 for professional presentation.
